Welcome Students!

A transfer student is anyone entering the University who has graduated from high school or the equivalent, and has previously enrolled at a post-secondary institution after high school.

Transfer students are a vital part of the College of Liberal Arts and this site contains information to help students make a successful transition to the College of Liberal Arts. To ensure that your transition is a smooth one, you'll need to learn about our academic policies and procedures. The U of M may do things differently than your previous school, so take that into account as you prepare. Learning how things work will allow you to take charge of your academic career and will be essential to your success.

If you have any additional questions or concerns regarding transferring to the College of Liberal Arts, please contact the CLA Transfer Adviser.
