How will my courses transfer?
Courses and policies listed by department

To find out about specific policies for and course transferability to CLA majors and programs, choose a discipline from the following list. BOLDED LINKS include more extensive school-by-school transfer course guides.

The Transfer Course Guides can be used:
  • to help you generally assess how courses will transfer to the U of M, including the level, i.e., lower division versus upper division;

  • to help you figure out how transfer courses will count toward a specific major or minor;

  • in consultation with your departmental/major adviser.  Though guides will list course equivalents, you may need to speak with a major adviser to find out more about departmental residency requirements and other applicable policies.
